The Punjab Aromatics has been manufacturing aromatic oils for over four decades. We create the art and science of making essential oils from extracts of sandalwood and other essential products. The abundant natural sources of sandalwood oil are carefully extracted to create essential oils that invoke deep healing power, feelings of joy, excitement, or serenity by adding essential flavor to life.

The Punjab Aromatics has expertise in the manufacturing of sandalwood oil, offering some of the world’s finest sandalwood essentials captured in a bottle. Our products possess soul-soothing power derived from powerful plant extracts and natural radiance. We offer 100% natural products made through traditional essential oil distillation processes using careful steam distillation techniques. Only the purest essential oils are used in our products.

Founded by Late Mr. M. L. Gupta along with his brothers, the sandalwood business was established in the early 1960s under the name “Guptaji Brothers” and “Evergreen Fragrances.” In 1975, along with his eldest son Mr. Bharat Bhushan Agarwal, The Punjab Aromatics was formed. The company started by catering to local markets and gradually expanded exports to the USA, UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Russia, the Middle East, and other European countries.

The company has manufacturing units in Silvasa (Union Territory) and Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh), with its head office in Calicut, Kerala. Our essential oils are widely appreciated across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

OUR PRODUCTS

Sandalwood is one of the most precious woods on Earth. All parts of the tree, especially the heartwood and roots, yield approximately 6% essential oil. Sandalwood oil is widely used as a base note and fixative in the perfume industry.

Extraction of Sandalwood Oil

Sandalwood oil is extracted primarily by steam distillation, where overheated steam passes through powdered wood. Once cooled, the process yields sandalwood hydrosol and sandalwood oil.
